NEW ORLEANS – On Tuesday afternoon, New Orleans VooDoo players Joe Alajajian and Greg Ellingson visited Tulane Hospital for Children, entertaining some of the young patients by joining in playing video games and with toys.
The players brought smiles to many of the children’s faces, stopping by to play video games, talk football, and take pictures.
Also, Ellingson gave a changing-colors sword to Cale, 4, on Tuesday afternoon. Ellingson had the sword in his car and after visiting Cale in his room, went back to his car to get the sword for him.
Alajajian and Ellingson visited patients, Cale, Brittney, Kamyron, and Devonte on Tuesday afternoon.
This visit is one of 24 hospital visits that the VooDoo Dolls and players will take part in this season, splitting time between Tulane and Children’s Hospital.
