TULSA, Okla. – Orlando Predators WR BOBBY SIPPIO has been named the National Guard MVP of the Week for his performance in Week 20 of the 2011 AFL season, as voted on by fans.

Sippio received nearly 70 percent of the fans’ votes on Facebook.com after hauling in 14 receptions for 169-yards and four touchdowns in last week’s victory over the New Orleans VooDoo, 62-44. Sippio led the Predators with 33 touchdown receptions. He has also accumulated 112 receptions and 1,384 receiving yards on the season.

The Predators (11-7) will face the Jacksonville Sharks (14-4) in the First Round of the 2011 playoffs on Friday, July 29 at 8:00 p.m. ET on NFL.com.  

Other candidates for the award included Utah QB Todd Hammel and Georgia QB Darnell Kennedy.
